Morgan Richard is a senior commercial leader with 15+ years of pharma/ biotech marketing and sales leadership experience. She specializes in developing and executing marketing strategies based on unique customer insights that deliver measurable results.
Most recently, Morgan was the Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning at Havas Health where she created both US and global strategy and positioning for Dupixent. She was also responsible for TevaDigihaler and Sanofi’s OTC Digestive Health Portfolio including Zantac, Dulcolax, and Rolaids.
Previously, Morgan was an Executive Business Director for AstraZeneca. In this position, she was responsible for developing and driving the US sales strategy while working as the key liaison with multiple brand leadership teams to optimize sales and market share growth across the portfolio for CRESTOR, SYMBICORT, PULMICORT, and FARXIGA. Morgan was a member of the Senior Sales Leadership Team and Respiratory Leadership Team.
Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Morgan served as Senior Portfolio Director, Global Respiratory Franchise at GlaxoSmithKline's global headquarters in London where she was responsible for leading the development of the entire respiratory portfolio strategy to meet overall revenue and market share targets globally. Additionally, she led multidisciplinary scenario planning efforts with R&D, marketing, and sales leadership to ensure significant uncertainties were prospectively planned for to mitigate key risks within the global strategic plans for 5 key respiratory assets for both asthma and COPD.
Over her pharmaceutical career, Morgan has held various positions in sales and marketing, including leading the US brand team for ADVAIR COPD, leading lifecycle management for the US respiratory franchise, and leading consumer marketing efforts for ADVAIR ASTHMA. She has experience in multiple disease states including COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, Depression, Low Testosterone, and Overactive Bladder. Morgan has worked with providers, consumers, hospitals, health systems, and public and private payers. She has led teams as small as 2 and as large as 400.
Morgan earned her Bachelors from Stanford University, and her MBA from Duke University.
